A medical doctor by academic training, MUIS's journey is a testament to the resilient spirit that defines so many young Nigerian artists. "My faith is a huge part of who I am and how I create," MUIS explains. "Reading the Quran, especially, has given me a deep understanding of melody and rhythm." You hear it in the way artists often weave Waka-style melodies with Quranic verses, creating a sound that's both spiritual and grounded in everyday life. That's the space where "Saati Ramoni" lives.

That sense of staying true to himself led to a significant change for MUIS. He used to be known as KING AMO, but he decided to go by his birth name. "I tried to be someone else," he admits, "but realized there's nothing better than being yourself."
